Abdul Karim Mahyoub was born in Al-Majalis, a small village in the Al-Hajar Mountains of the Arabian Peninsula. His father was a rich farmer and he was one of the most successful students of the Islamic religion in the history of the world.
After graduating from Al-Azhar University in 1632, he was appointed as the chief judge of the qadi court in 1638. He also held many other important posts, including the post of secretary general of the Muslim World League and the post of the president of the Inter-Islamic Committee for the Prevention of Scandal. He was one of the most respected figures in the Muslim world.
